Privacy
What this site keeps, and why. It is short, because the site does very little.
If you log in
Logging in here checks your email address and password and then sends you on to your own Taproot account, where the work is. We keep your email address, your name and a scrambled form of your password — scrambled so that nobody, us included, can read the password back. We also keep a note of each sign-in for a minute or so while it is happening, so that the way in can only be used once.
Asking for a new password emails you a link that works once and lasts an hour. We keep a record that the email was sent.
If you use the contact form
Your name, your email address and what you wrote are emailed to us, and a record that the message was sent is kept in the system so we can see if one ever fails to arrive. We use your address to reply to you and for nothing else. We do not add you to a mailing list.
What we do not do
No advertising, no tracking, no analytics, and nothing on these pages is loaded from anybody else’s server. There are no cookies on this page beyond the one that keeps a login form safe to submit.
Asking us anything
To ask what we hold about you, to have it corrected, or to have it deleted, write to [email protected] and we will answer by email.
